This diary was part of the field notes made by Mushtak Khan when he was commissioned to create a crafts directory of the Sarguja and Raigarh districts by the Crafts Museum, New Delhi, in 1986. Sundari Bai was one of the artists who was ‘discovered’ during that expedition.
