The Ministry of Textiles, Government of India in the year 2002 awarded 10 craftsperson recognising their contribution in the field of craft and, the society as a whole. Sona Bai Rajwar from Phuhputra village, Chhattisgarh was one of the awardees recognised for her clay work, which decorates the inner walls of her house.

 

This library artefact is a felicitation volume for the 10 awarded craftsperson. The section here contains the portion relevant to Sona Bai.
