The gallery has images of Shaivite iconography from the Great Chola Temples. The master craftsmen of the Chola dynasty, who were devout Shaivites, created masterpieces in sculpture to adorn the temple walls of Brihadisvara, Gangaikondacholapuram and Darasuram.
