This image gallery presents the paintings of artist Bhagwan Shankar Chavan. Born in 1958, Bhagwan graduated from the Sir JJ School of Art, Mumbai, in 1981. Bhagwan's abstract paintings excel in their formal rhythm. Winner of the Nagesh Smruthi Puraskar award in 2007, Bhagwan now lives at the Cholamandal Artists' Village, though he is not formally associated with it.
