Yamuna Biodiversity Park harbours thousands of plant species living together in the form of diverse communities/ecosystems which used to exist along the river Yamuna basin in the past. The wetlands of Yamuna Biodiversity Park harbour aquatic vegetation, fishes and microorganisms and provide ideal alternative habitats for migratory and resident bird species. Around 20 Forest communities have been developed in Yamuna Biodiversity Park which offer multiple micro-niches and habitats for a diversity of animal species to come, survive and breed.
