The video was shot for Sahapedia at Kannur in 2017.

The short video is on one of the associated rituals of Poorakkali, the nine-day long festival that is celebrated in temples in North Kerala in April-May. Coconuts are broken against a slab of stone to appease the Mother Goddess. Then follows a tightly fought scuffle for coconut, and the one who manages to take it to the sanctorum is the winner.
