Images of puppets belonging to the Koonathara troupe, a prominent tolpavakoothu troupe in north Kerala, are displayed below. Also shown are images of a koothumaadam and musical instruments. Koothumaadam is the playhouse on the temple premises where tolpavakoothu is traditionally performed. Featured here is the koothumaadam that belongs to the Aryan kaavu in Palakkad.
