John Abraham, after 30 years of his death, is still remembered as a unique filmmaker of Malayalam cinema who experimented and innovated at all levels of filmmaking. His independent and collaborative efforts as a filmmaker in an era of New Cinema resonated with the works of other contemporary filmmakers like G. Aravindan and Adoor Gopalakrishnan. This image gallery carries a few rare pictures of John Abraham, with his contemporaries and a few of his film posters. These rare images have been shared with V.K. Cherian from the personal archives of Shashi Kumar and Ramachandra Babu.
