Architect Karan Grover talks about Prof. R.N. Mehta, the archaeologist who recovered Champaner from its ruins and entrusted him with the heritage conservation of the site. He also talks about the challenges of conservation at Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park. Mr. Grover was instrumental in getting World Heritage Site status for the site in 2004—a first for Gujarat and the 25th declaration for India.
