N.C. Induchoodan, former Deputy Conservator of Forests in the Kerala forest department, is a scientist, ecologist and environmental activist. Presently chairman of the green doctors movement, he is public relations officer of the spiritual channel, 'Jnanayogi'.
He has done his research on sacred groves of Kerala at jnanayogi.

Sacred groves, traditionally known as ‘Kavu’, are seen in many homes in Kerala. These are clusters of trees that are grown together on an area of land. Ponds and small water bodies may be associated with these groves.
