More than any other medium, Ebenezer's paintings disclose the irony, parody and tongue-in-cheek humour of keeping his own self and the body as the focus of his artistic expression. Ebenezer's distinctive style uses brushstrokes of fluorescent beams of colour to depict his figures. When Ebenezer uses the same style to portray the modern philosophers in his 'Holy Smoke' series, their presence connects with the selves of the viewers.
