Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai

Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) is one of the few 'living' World Heritage Sites, used by approximately 6.4 lakh people daily, and employing about 5,000 workers.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) was built as the headquarters and the rail terminus of the the Great India Peninsula Railway (GIPR), which built the first railway line in India and in Asia in 1853. Made in a High Victorian Gothic (or Gothic Revival) style based on late medieval Italian models, it was completed in 1888.
