M. Balamani

Dr M. Balamani is an art historian and art critic based in Baroda. Her PhD from the Department of Art History and Aesthetics, Baroda, was on women’s rituals and practices in Telugu-speaking regions in India. She has written extensively on modern and contemporary Indian art and on social history, including the history of museums in Gujarat.
