Soubhagya is currently pursuing an MA in Knowledge Systems and Practices at Srishti School of New Humanities and Design, Bangalore. She comes from a background in Media and Communication Studies and has worked with corporate organizations as well as NGOs in the past. Her interests lie in social research and media production.

Tottilgundi is a hamlet in the northern part of Karnataka. It is home to about 125 Siddhis, a community of African descent in India. This module documents their syncretic lifestyle and gives a sneak peek into their everyday negotiations with religion and identity, through an in depth look at the unusual Ramzan celebrations in this officiallly Christian hamlet.
