The Deepor Beel is a prominent floodplain lake located in the south-west of Guwahati city in Assam. The module chronicles the relationships of the Deepor Beel wetland with the fast-growing city, with its birds and wildlife species and with the traditionally inhabiting fisher-people living around the Beel.
