Walkthrough of the exhibition, 'Alice from Switzerland: A Visionary Artist and Scholar Across Two Continents' (National Museum, New Delhi, September 1 – October 30, 2016). A collaboration between the Museum Rietberg, Zurich, the Alice Boner Institute, Varanasi, and the National Museum, New Delhi, the exhibition traced the life and work of Alice Boner (1889–1981) through her photographs and diaries, and displays of her sculptures, sketches and paintings. On view were her photographs of Kathakali artistes, studies of geometrical form in art, and excerpts from her diaries and letters describing her association with Uday Shankar, Rabindranath Tagore and Shanta Rao.
