Kokila Bhandari

Lokesh Ohri, a PhD from the Department of Anthropology, South Asia Institute, University of Heidelberg, is CEO, Heritage Interpretation & Development Founder, REACH (Rural Entrepreneurship for Art & Cultural Heritage); Director-Programmes, Virasat Arts' & Heritage Festival, Dehradun; Convenor, INTACH, Dehradun Chapter; Co-convenor, INTACH, Uttarakhand; and CEO, 'Been There Doon That?' His research is focused on Uttarakhand Himalaya, especially the Jaunsar Bawar region. Books authored by him include 'Suspended Beliefs: The Bridges of Uttarakhand' (2017), 'On the Pilgrim Trail to Kedarnath' (2016), 'Upper Ganga Region: Cultural Resource Mapping' (2014-15), 'Been There, Doon That' (2010) and 'Chakravyuh: Theatre of the Found Space' (2006). 'Human in Khaki' (2009), a book co-authored by him, has been translated into five regional languages in India and received the prestigious Govind Ballabh Pant Award for literature on police reform and human rights from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. He has also presented research papers and articles in several international publications.
